A NOTE FROM THE CURATOR
"There is a saying that goes: “The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
That is precisely what comes to mind when I think about this project —
and when I ask myself a question that I believe we should all be asking:
What do we want the communities of the future to look like?
This project clearly integrates many of the lessons learned about urban development
in highly sensitive natural environments,
achieving a balance that could serve as a meaningful reference
for developers, planners, and communities around the world.
Its vision begins with something fundamental:
to preserve more than it impacts.
From that principle, everything else follows with consistency —
low-impact natural materials, spaces designed for well-being and community building,
responsible waste and wastewater management,
and a deep respect for the existing landscape and native wildlife.
All of this without sacrificing the key elements of contemporary comfort:
a strategic location, fiber-optic internet, potable water, and access to the public electrical grid.
Because the future worth creating does not require us to choose between living well and living in alignment with our values"

• Waste management facilities, including designated disposal and recycling areas.
• Wastewater treatment systems designed for every 4 to 6 residents.
• Living fences that allow the free movement of wildlife while maintaining the integrity of the ecological corridor.
• Residential proposals and common areas incorporate bioconstruction techniques using locally sourced materials such as Mexican-grown bamboo, sustainably sourced timber, natural fibers, limestone, earth, and water.
• Preservation of the site's original topography, maintaining the natural permeability of the soil.
• No asphalt is used on internal roads, allowing the ground to breathe and retain its natural water infiltration capacity.
• Preservation of mature trees throughout the development.
